Difference Real Diamond, Synthetic Diamond and Moissanite!
Real diamonds are pressed by mother earth from carbon atoms (carbon atom) in millennia. Here, nitrogen atoms are always included (nitrogen atom)!
Synthetic diamonds are invented by man and pressed by machine technology of carbon, here are no nitrogen atoms (nitrogen) included!
These stones are tested / distinguished with a UV light test, whereby the nitrogen in the real diamond ensures that the UV light is almost completely absorbed. In the synthetic diamond, however, the light goes through. (possible test device: Presidium Tester SDS # 4622.SDS)
Real Moissanites, on the other hand, are in comets and come from outer space, which makes them many times more valuable than real diamonds.
Created by man and machine, there are also artificially produced Moissanites, which also serve as Diamantimitationen. These are measured / distinguished with thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. (Eg Presidium Multitester # 4622.55)
Real and fake moissanites always consist of silicon carbide. This material is also used to grind diamonds, as it has a similar degree of hardness.
