The fine-grained pebble Novaculite (from lat. Novacula = sharp knife, razor) is ideal for honing stones (extremely hard-bound mineral with dense structure). The stone is extremely slow and can therefore be used for a very long time.

Ideal for surface grinding of tools. Can be used dry, with water or with oil.
