The use of a cleaning bath significantly supports the effect of ultrasonic baths. The surface tension of the water should be reduced with a suitable cleaning preparation for effective ultrasonic cleaning.
When cleaning jewelry, please note that there are no beads attached to your jewelry. Pearls lose their shine through the ultrasonic bath. The same applies to various gemstones (for example, opals, emeralds and especially corals) whose surface can be attacked by the bath (please inform about the stones). How does an ultrasonic cleaner work?
The filled with liquid tub of the ultrasonic device is set in vibration. The ultrasonic vibrators are usually located laterally on the tub and generate sound waves.
The oscillators are powered by a generator with energy. These vibrations create an excess and negative pressure in the liquid.
The pressure causes small bubbles in the water. The wave motion of the water causes the bubbles to swell until eventually they burst.
When the bubbles burst, energy is released and an explosive force is created which creates a friction function and thus destroys dirt particles.
