Opening a watch cover, watch back, case cover

Why would you want to open a watch? – To change the movement, the battery or the watch glass or to clean the inside of the watch!

Since there are different watch lids, different watch openers are required to open them. Some backs can be easily opened yourself with little effort, while others can only be opened with special tools. If you are unable to open the watch yourself despite having the appropriate tools, this should definitely be done by a watchmaker to avoid damage to the watch. There are brands that can only be opened with the appropriate training and experience. Some makes require special tools.
