Filing (working with a file) means machining to shape a workpiece
Filing is a manufacturing process and is associated with cutting. A file can be used to work on metals, wood and plastics.
There are a variety of different files for different applications: needle file, diamond file, key file, flat file, metal file, wood file, round file, emery file, triangular file, etc.
The “cut” and the division of the files:
