A flammable detonating gas is automatically produced in the device by electrolysis of distilled water. This means that there is no storage of large quantities of gas in the workshop and no laborious regulation of the pressure and mixing ratio. The concentration of the hot flame (up to over 3000 ° C, if without flux additive) enables quick soldering without unnecessary heating of the entire workpiece.
